ADVANCED PROGRAM
Four academic years over 37 calendar
months.
In Academic Years One, Two and the first
6 months of Year Three, attendance at
college is based on 6 days per month.
Classes are always Thursday through Tuesday
during the first 24 months.
For the remaining 3 months of Academic
Year Three and the whole of Academic
Year Four, attendance is 2-3 days per
week with students attending clinic from
8.30 am to 6 pm or 9 am to 6.30 pm. Depending
on your intake group, clinic days are
either Friday and Saturday with a classroom
day on Sunday, or Sunday and Monday with
a classroom day on Tuesday (with 2 additional
days during the clinical period).
The program is organized so that the
first two calendar years of the training
allow students to continue working, at
least part time. There is no necessity
to live in the vicinity of the college. However,
for the final year, we recommend that
students relocate to the area and concentrate
exclusively on their studies due to the
intensive nature of this period of clinical
practice/supervision.
