OUR VISION FOR HEALTH Ongiara College is committed to providing health education to members of the general public, including the role acupuncture and allied complementary medical therapies can play within an integrated approach to health. Ongiara will organize the provision of specialized health education programs with local community and special interest groups. Ongiara students will participate in community health activities, events and services as part of their professional development requirement. Ongiara faculty and students will offer in-house and peripatetic health education talks and classes. The college will host a variety of continuing education courses for complementary and allopathic medicine practitioners, facilitating a better understanding of acupuncture within the wider medical profession. The college clinic will offer easily affordable, health care of the highest standard to the whole community (Fort Erie, Buffalo and the Niagara region).
